Hello visitors! I just joined the fun over at The Card Concept and am happy to post my first card. After reading the very informative card style definitions, I figured this one fit in with Clean & Layered. Hope that's right! The instructions and colors in the inspiration photo, pinks and soft green seemed perfect for a baby girl card. So soft and sweet. Here's what I came up with using Recollections papers (never knew I had so many shades of pink), a Martha Stewart button punch and Recollections baby girl stamps with Memento ink.
Here's a close up of the darling little buttons.
And a peek at the inside. I repurposed the teeny little heart to the front of the card.
Have a wonderful day!
I always, always, always love to see cards where both the inside and out are finished. I NEVER do that and I wish I did! Love the Clean and Layered look to your card and those really are adorable buttons!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your comments and your warm wlecome! Blogland is very challenging for me right now. Can you tell me how to grab and post badges onto my blog? Searching the internet for instructions has fogged my brain today!
DeleteLove the buttons!
ReplyDeleteHi Charleen, I'm coming to you from The Card Concept Challenge Blog. Your technique is perfect on this sweet baby card. Just a standout in the lineup with it's colors and classic layout!
ReplyDeleteI'll tell you how I post badges. It's my way, and I know there are others. I do all my
posting thru a Mac laptop and have IPhoto for my pictures. IPhoto lets me add images to my album. From there, I can grab the photo and put it where I want, which in your case would be 'Add a gadget'. Hope that helps. I know when I started blogging, I thought I was in over my head! Keep asking and answers will come. Your blog has a beautiful clean look, your style is lovely!
