First time playing over at this challenge. Sometimes when I'm out of challenges I troll the web...don't judge me! It's all in fun, I promise! So, my newly found challenge blog is As You See It and the sketch is #167. Here's the perpendicular sketch (that is such a funny word to say!):
And my perpendicular (lol!) take on the card:
Paper = Recollections Cardstock, Prima "Lifetime" Paper Pad
Stamps = Verve "Elegant Flower" and "Psalms 37.4"
Dies = Spellbinders "Foto Frames", MFT Die-Namics "Pierced Squares", Marvy Flower Punch
Thanks for visiting and craft on!
Welcome, Charleen! I'm glad you found us! This is such a sweet colour combination - I like it a lot. The photo frame is great on its own but looks superb angled over the sentiment like that. That little lacy edge peeping out looks like a Martha Stewart punch that I have. This is a lovely card and thank you for joining us at As You See It this week.
ReplyDeleteCharleen, this is just delightful! I am so glad you "found" us and played with us this week with our sketch! Those papers are wonderful...I love the colors and the vintage eclectic look as well as the Bible verse! And thanks for popping by my blog today too...my son-in-law told me his Eagles birthday card was his favorite, LOL! I hope you come back and play with As You See It again soon!

Hi, Charleen! So glad you could join us! I love that you created the perpendicular challenge with a little twist - the frame slightly askew! The colours are gorgeous and I love the sentiment! Thanks for playing along with our sketch challenge at As You See It Challenge.
